"The Little Blue Blessings"

Upcycled blue & black beads say "thanks" to a friend.

I made these to thank a friend for especially blessing my family this week (she and her hubby took our kids so we could have a break and then fed our whole family and amazing lunch!) but I could not have known while making them just how refreshing our lunchtime fellowship would be.

Thank God for great friends!

Greenbling Tale

"The jewelry game" is what my daughter has named it. At my home in Southern California, I sprawl piles of vintage trinkets, old buttons, and broken jewelry across our dinning room table then attack it with pliers until something new emerges - something recycled, handmade, and original.

The style of each piece is as varied as the materials used to make it. One week will produce large, flashy necklaces full of funky colors while the next week will be all about monotone dainty bracelets. After all, no one design fits all. The fun of jewelry is that it can capture endless moods and styles. Whatever it may be, each item represents something I loved making and am proud of. Wear it however you want, make it your own, and enjoy!
