Growth
When I first tinkered around with jewelry I ended up with a handful of crudely finished products that I had no clue what to do with. Do I add several similar necklaces to my accessory stash? Do I sell them? Are they even worth anything? Maybe they're just random junk that I'm partial to because I made them. While thinking through it all, I noticed my neighborhood-mommy-friend, Shanalea, busting out a rad garage sale (at which I scored a double stroller that to this day faithfully endures the violent thrashings of my children -- thank you!).
So naturally, like an awkward weirdo, I showed up on her lawn with my selection of potential crap treasure for some feed back. The awkward-weirdo vibe was alleviated by the fact that she liked them and accepted the offer to keep one (you're so dang gracious and sweet, Shanalea). I was stoked and encouraged to keep learning this hodge-podge hobby.... and there it began, folks....... Greenbling.
Flash forward about two years and here we are in October. Due to the perils of raising four boys, her necklace was recently shredded damaged. In the true spirit of Greenbling, though, she brought it back for another round of recycling instead of trashing it. Which brings me to the latest bling thing born out of my crazy-lady-lab:

Thanks for the inspiration to get my creative juices flowing again, friend.
Remixing this piece inspired the rescue of quite a few 1970's earrings this weekend.
